Music Bugs are thrilled to be supporting Tommy’s this year – a charity very close to our hearts and the hearts of the thousands of parents across the UK who attend our weekly classes.
We are kick-starting what will be an annual fundraiser for Tommy’s with two special events.
Music Bugs sing for Tommy’s event – (10th to the 14th June)
A special week of Music Bugs classes held across all of our UK venues. Sing your heart out for Tommy’s, make a donation and join in the fun. Speak to your class leader for further details of special events running in your area. If you don’t currently attend a Music Bugs class but would like to join in then contact us on info@musicbugs.co.uk for further details.
Music Bugs trek for Tommy’s (March 2014)
Our Managing Director Claire has very bravely signed up to trek for Tommy’s next year. Her trek will take her into the Himalayas and the heart of the world’s highest mountain range. Climbing to altitudes of approx. 10,000 feet she will be battling altitude sickness and blisters to visit India’s exiled Tibetan community on the trail of the Dalai Lama. (Claire – you do realise that you will have to manage without internet access don’t you? Also, leave the Crocs at home – they are not suitable footwear (ever))
The entire cost of Claire’s trek has been self-funded meaning that every penny we raise in sponsorship goes straight to Tommy’s.
Please do donate whatever you can afford. You can either sponsor your own child/grandchild/niece/nephew to ‘Sing For Tommy’s’ or you can sponsor Claire for her Himalayan trek.
Either way, you’ll be donating to a fantastic cause and supporting a much needed charity.
Donations can be made via our fundraising page here http://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/team/musicbugs
Thank you for your support!
