Scunthorpe and Grimsby
And the surrounding areas...
Multi-sensory music classes for your baby, toddler and pre-schooler in Scunthorpe, Brigg, Barton-upon-Humber and surrounding areas.
Music Bugs North Lincolnshire, Including sessions local to Scunthorpe, Brigg, Bottesford, Broughton and Barton-upon-Humber.
Music Bugs classes are a great way to spend time with your child. Participation in music and singing classes help children to socialise and develop.
We aim to create a friendly, exciting and lively environment for you and your child to join in in your own way, learning new songs and enjoying familiar songs. We use a range of props from finger puppets and glove puppets to larger props such as the popular Music Bugs hobby horses and parachutes.
These are combined with action songs that encourage fine motor skills for finger awareness, to gross motor skills for moving and jumping around.Props and songs vary each week to keep sessions fresh and interesting but are repeated regularly.
About the team.
Hello Julie here, along with class leader Natalie, you’ll find us running all of your local sessions. I run Music Bugs in the area and have done since the launch in 2013, with Natalie joining the team in 2018. I absolutely LOVE running Music Bugs and getting to meet so many little ones and their families. My favourite part of classes is witnessing the pure joy and enthusiasm the children bring with them each week.
You’ll find me behind the scenes answering all of your queries and currently running all sessions in Brigg, Bottesford, Scunthorpe, Barton-upon-Humber and Broughton as Natalie enjoys her Maternity leave!
With classes running every week day, we have plenty to choose from. Choose Family Bugs (mixed age), Mini Bugs (6-24 months) or Baby Bugs (0-crawling).
This year we will be celebrating 11 years of Music Bugs fun and we couldn’t be prouder. We hope we can welcome you along to group soon!

Some of the lovely feedback we've received from Music Bugs parents
It’s our favourite part of the week and my son sings the ‘Hello Music Bugs’ song all the way there in the car. Each week is so exciting and varied and we have made some really lovely friends in class
It’s our favourite part of the week
The mixed age group classes (Family Bugs) allow me to come along with all of my ‘mindees’ at the same time but the class leader adapts the activities and songs so that everyone can join in and benefit from the session.I’m a childminder and think that Music Bugs classes are the best there are!
